Sean Dyche has been out of work since being sacked by Everton at the start of the year.
Shortly after the Friedkin Group’s Everton takeover, they made the bold decision at the time to sack Sean Dyche.
In came David Moyes, and it has turned out to be a brilliant appointment as he guided the Toffees well clear of relegation last term.
Dyche has been linked with several jobs over the last 10 months, and it was reported that he was interviewed by Leicester City in the summer.
Now, there is a fresh development emerging as the 54-year-old is being heavily linked with a return to the Premier League.

Sean Dyche ‘frontrunner’ to become Nottingham Forest manager
Ange Postecoglou only replaced Nuno Espirito Santo last month, but his position is already under immense scrutiny.
Postecoglou has failed to win any of his first seven games in charge and has suffered some damning defeats to Swansea City and Midtjylland.
As such, Evangelos Marinakis is now considering sacking the Forest manager, and Dyche is understood to be a ‘front-runner’ to replace him, according to The Telegraph.

Dyche lives in Nottingham and is available, so he fits the bill for Marinakis, who may not be able to pay compensation for a manager in work due to PSR regulations.
Ange Postecoglou expected to be given one more game
It’s understood that Postecoglou is likely to be given the Chelsea game next week but another defeat could see Dyche swiftly appointed.
Forest spent in excess of £200m in the summer transfer window and yet, they are currently hovering above the relegation zone.
Dyche is a specialist at avoiding relegation, although it does seem a little early to consider that in October.
Forest still have the Europa League to play for, too, so it would be a really attractive job for the former Everton manager.
