Rams vs. Ravens: The matchup
With quarterback Lamar Jackson ruled out with a hamstring ailment, the Ravens are nearly touchdown underdogs on their home field in Week 6. Backup Cooper Rush is set to start for a second straight week after taking part in last week’s 44-10 blowout loss to the Houston Texans, which also prompted major changes to coach John Harbaugh’s defensive personnel.
The Rams post a major challenge to that revamped back end of the Ravens’ D with quarterback Matthew Stafford leading the NFL’s second-best passing attack (289.6 ypg). Los Angeles carries a 3-2 record into Sunday with losses in two of its past three games, most recently falling at home to the San Francisco 49ers (26-23) last weekend.
