Giants trolled Philadelphia sports on horribly epic levels in Eagles Week 6 game

The New York Giants will never be considered grateful winners, as they proved they are truly sore winners with multiple troll moves made on the Philadelphia Eagles.

To their credit, it was a blowout in Week 6 as the 1-4 Giants taught the Eagles a lesson with a 34-17 win at MetLife Stadium. It was a great performance from the GMen from start to finish, but an embarrassing display of football by the previously 4-1 Birds.

It was what happened before the game ended, and right after that, it just infuriated Eagles fans more than they ever have with the Giants.

New York found every way to troll the Eagles and Philadelphia sports in general

Starting with what happened in the second half of the game, the Giants decided to make sure any Eagles fans at MetLife Stadium knew precisely what was going on in the NL playoff game in MLB between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Of course, Phillies fans know that they lost that game 2-1 and were eliminated from the postseason. So did the Giants.

It turned out to be a horrible weekend for Philadelphia and Pennsylvania sports in general after the two losses. Penn State football lost its third straight game, and Temple football also lost in the final minute of its game against Navy.

Once the game ended, the Giants' social media admin made sure to have their fun at the Eagles' expense. They started with a post featuring the same text style as the popular FX show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," with the caption, "The gang had a long drive home."

It certainly didn't end there as they added the Saturday Night Live stretch of comedian Nate Bargatze being a golfer and accidentally hitting a bird with the ball.

It's safe to say that Eagles fans would like to forget the horrors of the last week in football and sports and look forward to hopefully better results.
