Quentin Johnston popped up on this week’s injury report with a hamstring injury despite playing 82% of offensive snaps against the Washington Commanders. The leading receiver was a limited participant on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. As a result, the Chargers officially listed Johnston as questionable on Friday’s final injury report.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN on Saturday night, Quentin Johnston was trending towards not playing against the Miami Dolphins. The Chargers made the news official at 10:30 am CT when they listed him as out. This will be the first game Johnston has missed in the young season and the third over the past three years.

Derius Davis will miss his third consecutive game with a knee injury. He was unable to practice for the third straight week. Meanwhile, the Chargers offense must count on Keenan Allen, Ladd McConkey, Tre Harris III, and KeAndre Lambert-Smith as part of the wide receiver room, along with tight ends Will Dissly, Oronde Gadsden II, Tyler Conklin, and Tucker Fisk.
