Mark Sanchez mugshot released following arrest for alleged drunken stabbing incident

Reports slowly became aware to the public, and it was officially revealed that the former New York Jets quarterback was accused of assaulting a delivery driver while intoxicated.

According to NBC News, “Police alleged that Sanchez approached a truck driver making a delivery at a nearby hotel and then escalated the encounter, according to charging documents filed on Sunday morning.”

On Sunday, Sanchez’s mugshot after his arrest became public.

It is a troubling story that still has a long road to its conclusion.

Last week, before the NFL slate of games began on Fox, the network had hosts of their pregame shows deliver a message about Sanchez and the incident that took place.

Earlier last week, the network announced that Mark Schlereth would be filling in for Sanchez during game coverage.

“Schlereth, a three-time Super Bowl champion with Denver and Washington, will replace Sanchez as the game analyst on Fox’s telecast of Seahawks-Jaguars at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday,” wrote Michael McCarthy and Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports.
