Kings Star Suffers New Injury, Will Miss Significant Time After Surgery

The Sacramento Kings will be without one of their best players for, at the very least, the first several weeks of the impending 2025-26 NBA season.

Per Marc Stein of The Stein Line, imaging has revealed that Kings forward Keegan Murray has torn the ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb.

He’ll need surgery to address the ailment, and will be on the shelf for, at the very least, four-to-six weeks. Given that the new season tips off in a little over a week, this means that, at best, he’ll miss most of the regular season’s first month.
