Browns shut down by Steelers 23-9

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Browns offensive struggles continued Sunday in a 23-9 loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Cleveland’s Dillon Gabriel passed for 221 yards, completing 29 of 51 passes (no touchdowns).

He was also sacked 6 times.

The Browns averaged just 3.3 yards per play and went 6-for-17 on 3rd down.

The Browns still haven’t won a regular-season game in Pittsburgh since 2003.

Aaron Rodgers went 21-of-30 for 235 yards and 2 TD for Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh got its first TD in the 3rd when Rodgers hit Connor Heyward to make it 16-3 Steelers.

Rookie RB Quinshon Judkins was held to just 36 yards on 12 carries.

First time I am really starting to think the #Browns fire Kevin Stefanski.

The team is just terribly coached. Bad penalties. Silly mistakes.

I defend the guy as much as anyone, and I am not even saying he should be fired, but the vibe is beginning to form.

Drops, penalties, every game is pretty much the same with different uniforms.

The teams combined for 4 first-half field goals as Pittsburgh took a 9-3 lead to the break.

Tight end David Njoku left in the 4th with a leg injury.

Left knee hyperextends, not a crazy amount but does hyperextend. Hip also being forced into external rotation which could put some stress on the LCL/posterolateral corner, ankle rolls too.

Not a major excursion so hopefully no major injury but is concerning pic.twitter.com/g9qcGhOLc1

Cleveland (1-5) returns home next Sunday to host Miami (1-5) at 1 p.m.
