Goals from Iman Beney and Aoba Fujino helped us to a dramatic 2-1 triumph at Anfield which extended our winning streak to six matches in all competitions.
After a goalless first half, the hosts took the lead when Cornelia Kapocs headed a whipped cross into the net from close range.

But the Blues responded brilliantly and levelled just over 10 minutes later when Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s header was palmed into Beney’s path, who then slammed into the net from a tight angle.
Andrée Jeglertz’s side pushed for a winner and when the likelihood of a draw increased, Fujino euphorically scored on 86 minutes when collecting Sydney Lohmann’s pass to drill low into the net.
It means City have moved back to second in the WSL table and have won each of our six assignments since our narrow opening day defeat to Chelsea.
