GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) -The Green Bay Packers started off slow in Sunday’s matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Despite having a bye last week, the Packers looked sluggish to start.
An early first-quarter interception by Jordan Love highlighted the teams’ offensive struggles. It was the Packers’ QB’s second interception of the season.
Neither team could score in the first, but the Packers would set themselves up for a field goal early in the second.
Green Bay’s newest kicker, Lucas Havrisik, would drill his first field goal for the Pack from 43 yards out.
Lots of back and forth without scoring would continue until Jordan Love would connect with Matthew Golden for a 35-yard completion, followed by a 29-yard completion to Josh Jacobs out of the shotgun.
A 3-yard touchdown run by Jacobs, followed up by Havrisik’s extra point, would make it a 10-0 game at halftime for the Packers.
