Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, definitely did not hold back as she called out Terrion Arnold for mocking her husband before Sunday’s game. Arnold shared a meme of wrestler ‘The Undertaker’ glaring at Patrick Mahomes from behind, basically threatening the quarterback for the upcoming matchup.

While the meme definitely delighted Lions fans, not everyone was happy with it once the game was over, especially since the Chiefs horribly thrashed Detroit. Brittany Mahomes shared the meme once more on her Instagram. While Mrs. Mahomes didn’t exactly caption the post, the picture was definitely enough to send the message.

Patrick Mahomes was definitely on fire in Sunday’s game against the Lions, clearly doing everything in his power to make up for the previous abysmal defeat against the Jaguars. The quarterback managed four scores but the game itself was touted to be awfully biased against the Lions. Both fans and analysts called out the game officials for siding with the Chiefs, while being dead set against the Lions winning.
Even before this NFL season kicked off, many football fans, including U.S. Vice President, J.D. Vance hinted that the league might try to side with the Chiefs mainly because of Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce. It seems like Vance’s prediction is coming true with the princess treatment that the Chiefs received in this particular game.
Patrick Mahomes Condemned By Fans For Taunting Brian Branch
Patrick Mahomes showed fans an unsportsmanlike side to his personality in the recent game against the Detroit Lions. Mahomes taunted Brian Branch on the field, which clearly did not sit well with the audience. Mahomes tried to hi-five Branch later on, but the defensive end was too pissed to ignore him. Branch then later got into a punching match with JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Detroit Lions linebacker Derrick Barnes (55) pressures Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) during the first half at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025.
The fact that Mahomes did not receive a flag for the incident led fans to believe that the league is clearly showing some major partiality to the Chiefs this season. This is not the first season that the team has been accused of being shown favoritism by the league. Many feel that this is because of the team’s popularity as a result of Taylor Swift’s special relationship with the Chiefs.
“Patrick Mahomes is the only player in the NFL who can taunt defenders. It’s in the NFL Rulebook.”One social mediauser tweeted.

While the NFL has not come back with an announcement in terms of Patrick Mahomes’ fine, fans are hoping that the judgement comes soon. The league has been open that they are very strict in terms of on-field taunting in recent times.
