New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson could not hide his frustrations with head coach Aaron Glenn's botched end of the first half sequence against the Denver Broncos as the team fell to 0-6 on the year.
Despite much optimism surrounding the team heading into the 2025 season following the chaotic Aaron Rodgers era, the Jets have somehow managed to sink to a new low. On Sunday, they fell 13-11 to the Broncos at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in a game that saw quarterback Justin Fields pass for just 45 yards, completing 9 of 17 passes.

Wilson himself was limited to just three catches for 13 yards, hardly numbers befitting of a receiver the Jets tied down to a huge four-year $130 million extension back in July.

Come the end of the first half, the 25-year-old's frustrations were clear for all to see after the Jets mismanaged their final drive of the half. Down 10-6 in North London with just over a minute left on the clock, New York called a fake punt on 4th & 1, which they converted after directly snapping the ball to running back Breece Hall, signalling their intent to add points before the end of the half.
But, bizarrely, they lacked any urgency on offense after the fake punt. Getting up to the line of scrimmage, again on 4th & 1 with time expiring, New York's offense just stood in the middle of the field, seemingly unaware of what to do.
In the end, time expired, with New York refusing to run a play on fourth down, something which prompted Wilson to remonstrate with Glenn on the sideline as they walked into the locker room.

The former Ohio State star could be seen questioning the end of half sequence, with Wilson looking visibly frustrated with his head coach, who put his arm around the Jets receiver.
Speaking to the media after the game, Wilson admitted he understood the decision behind why the Jets did not run a play on fourth down from midfield due to fear of turning the ball over and handing Denver the opportunity to kick a long-range field goal.
However, he also added that the end of half sequence left him disappointed once he realized why New York was playing with such little urgency.

"I just didn't know exactly what the plan was. Once I figured it out, I was disappointed. I'll just say that," said Wilson.
"I didn't know exactly what the plan was. Once we converted the fourth down, I just thought we were going for the, trying to make the play.
"Obviously, we get to another fourth down and it's a tough spot to be in. In hindsight, I get why they did that, but in the moment, I was just like, 'man...'. I don't know. Yeah."
Glenn also told reporters he understood Wilson's frustrations. "I mean, who wouldn't be p----- when things are not going right on the offensive side of the ball," added the Jets coach.
