Earlier today, the Spanish Football Federation announced that Ferran Torres was released from the national team camp due to muscle overload, sustained after their game against Georgia last week.
The Spanish forward returned to Barcelona and has now undergone tests, with the Catalans confirming that he is not injured and is not facing any time out on the sidelines.
“Medical tests have confirmed that Ferran Torres has an overload in the hamstring muscles of his left leg, with no associated injury,” the statement read.
“The player is not sidelined and will follow a specific treatment plan.”

This will come as a major relief for Barcelona, considering the number of injury problems they have had in recent weeks.
Ferran is, after all, Hansi Flick’s preferred choice in the No. 9 role this season, ahead of veteran superstar Robert Lewandowski.
The 25-year-old striker will now undergo recovery in the coming days with the aim of being fit and ready to go when Barcelona take on Girona in the Catalan derby on 18 October.
So far this season, Ferran has scored five goals from ten appearances across all competitions.
Having had a disappointing game with Spain against Georgia, where he missed a few major chances, including a penalty, the attacker will be eager to bounce back strongly.
