Charlotte restaurant burns Cowboys owner after Rico Dowdle’s 200+ yard revenge game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - No holding back this Monday morning.

Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, a Charlotte restaurant that changes its signage after every Panthers gameday, was back at it after the team’s win against Dallas on Sunday, Oct. 12.

“Hey Jerry, Rico had a good game, huh?” the sign read.

Dowdle, the former Cowboys running back, faced his old team on Sunday and racked up 239 total yards from scrimmage. Fresh off a 200-yard rushing game against the Dolphins, Dowdle said all week that Dallas had better “buckle up.”

Turns out, they didn’t.

Previous signage

Monday’s sign was much better than a few weeks ago, which was directed at Carolina’s blowout loss in New England.

The signage on Monday, Sept. 29, read, “At least our punter can tackle.”
