La Liga giants Barcelona will not be able to call upon the services of midfield star Dani Olmo for the next two to three weeks.
That’s according to Blaugrana insider Helena Condis of COPE, who has on Monday provided an insight into the situation.
The name of attacking midfielder Olmo has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after Barcelona announced the extent of the injury which forced the former RB Leipzig man into a premature departure from international duty over the weekend.
As per a statement across the Blaugrana’s website and social media platforms:
‘Dani Olmo has injured the soleus in his left leg, with no damage to connective tissue. His recovery time will depend on how the injury evolves.’

And as alluded to above, an insight into just how long the problem is likely to keep Olmo sidelined has since come to the fore, too.
As per journalist Helena Condis:
‘Fortunately, it will only be about 2-3 weeks of absence for Olmo.’
