The first Kansas City Chiefs win of the season coincided with Taylor Swift’s first public game appearance.
Fans spotted Taylor in Travis Kelce’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium chatting with WNBA star Caitlin Clark before she was photographed later at the after-party by Samantha Corum, Travis’s cousin-in-law.
Taylor wore a black, jersey-style Ganni minidress customized with “Chiefs” and her signature number 13—see the look here!
It’s a great day to be a Kansas City Chiefs/Taylor Swift fan. Last night marked the first win of the season for Travis Kelce and the team (who defeated the Detroit Lions 30 to 17), as well as Taylor’s first public appearance at a game (because no, that time she showed up behind a movable barrier doesn’t count).
Eagle-eyed fans in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium first caught glimpses of Taylor chatting with WNBA star Caitlin Clark in Travis’ suite on Sunday, but we got a better look at her ’fit after Samantha Corum (who is married to Travis’ cousin Tanner) shared pics of herself with Tay on Instagram from the after-party at 1587 Prime.

And here’s a peek at Tay in the VIP suite:
For both the game and the after-party, Tay sported a black jersey-inspired minidress with “Chiefs” written across the front, along with the number 13—apparently a customized version of Ganni’s League Oversized Mini Dress (which retails for $495 and is miraculously still in stock!), per @taylorswiftstyled.
The dress was first shown on the Danish brand’s spring 2025 runway as part of its Fabrics of the Future program, hence the “Have a nice day, please recycle!” text across the front of the jersey.

As a reminder: During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor finally revealed why she has no intention of doing the Super Bowl halftime show anytime soon.
When asked about the “rumor” that she’d “turned down the Super Bowl because of performance footage,” Taylor said the truth is that she’s “in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.”

She continued, “That is violent chess. That is gladiators without swords. That is dangerous. The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field. Can you imagine if he’s out there every single week putting his life on the line—doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport—and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be. I think we should do two verses of “Shake It Off” into “Blank Space” into “Cruel Summer” would be great.’”
In conclusion: The decision “is nothing to do with Travis, he would love for me to do it. I’m just too locked in.”
