The Sacramento Kings will hold their annual Fan Fest and open practice Saturday at Golden 1 Center, offering fans a free opportunity to see the team days before the regular season begins.
The event starts at 11:30 a.m. in Downtown Commons, where attendees can participate in games and view themed activations tied to upcoming Kings promotional nights. Music and photo stations will be set up throughout the plaza.
Doors to Golden 1 Center open at 12:30 p.m., where fans can meet Kings mascots Slamson and Dunkson, as well as Stockton Kings mascot Miner.
Team emcees Scott “Fresh” Freshour and Scott Moak will host on-court activities. NBC Sports California broadcasters Kayte Christensen, Kyle Draper, Morgan Ragan and Deuce Mason are scheduled to appear for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities.
It’ll also be the first opportunity for fans to get an up-close look at the Kings’ City Edition uniforms. Fans using the team’s Royalty Pass program can receive 50% off select concessions. Merchandise promotions include the return of the “Stuff Your Bag” deal.
Open practice begins at 1:30 p.m. and includes roster introductions, skill challenges and a rookie talent show featuring Nique Clifford and Maxime Raynaud.
Attendees who purchase select lower-level tickets to the Kings’ Oct. 24 home opener against the Utah Jazz will be entered for a chance to sit courtside during Fan Fest.
Admission is free, but digital tickets are required and can be reserved at kings.com/fanfest.
Parking will be available at a flat $5 rate at the DoCo West Parking Garage, located at 325 L St., with entrances on Third and L streets.
