Tucker Kraft Makes A Big Statement About His Ability

The Green Bay Packers have one of the most underrated stars in the game.

Tucker Kraft may not get a lot of credit or recognition, but he’s already cemented himself as one of the best tight ends in the National Football League.

More importantly, he knows it.

Following yet another strong outing, the Packers’ star pass-catcher shared his honest thoughts on his skills:

“I catch the ball. I see run lanes. I’ve worked a lot on my ball security. I just don’t think people can tackle me,” Kraft said.

As bold as that may sound, it’s hard to disagree with that statement.

Tucker is one of the most prominent pass-catchers in the game in terms of piling up yards after the catch.

He torched the Cincinnati Bengals, logging 43 yards and one touchdown in just a couple of receptions.

He’s become one of Jordan Love’s preferred targets this season.

Through the first five games of the year, he’s up to 18 receptions on 22 targets.

He’s piled up 268 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 14.9 yards per reception.

The Packers’ offense is still a work in progress, and his numbers would definitely be more impressive if they didn’t have that many mouths to feed.

Still, with Jordan Love playing at an MVP level, the offensive line getting back to full strength, the running game finally getting going, and Christian Watson’s imminent return, it should be just a matter of time before they start firing on all cylinders.

That will only leave even more space for Tucker on the open field, and, just like he’s already warned them, that spells disaster for those trying to tackle him.
