A Green Bay Packers legend is confident that Micah Parsons is one of the key pieces that will help his former team win the Super Bowl.
Randall Cobb believes that Parsons' departure from the Dallas Cowboys was a huge mistake by franchise owner Jerry Jones. The veteran wide receiver labeled Parsons "a generational talent," whose move can bring personal and team success to the Packers.

After the stunning trade, Green Bay's Week 4 trip to Dallas piqued interest as Parsons would instantly return to face his former franchise. Cobb, who spent the 2019 season with the Cowboys, made his bold statement when asked whether he would have traded Parsons to the Packers.
"Of course not. If I have Micah Parsons, I'm keeping Micah Parsons on my roster," Cobb exclusively told Mirror U.S. Sports. "He is a generational talent.
"You look at his numbers and what he has been able to do over the first four years of his career, he is only going to get better. And I couldn't be happier to be a former Packer to see him in Green Bay.

"I think it's a great situation for him, and he has the opportunity to have a lot of success up there." Cobb believes that the Packers can go "all the way" with Parsons on the defense and also praised the offense under Jordan Love, who has nine touchdowns and 1,259 passing yards through five games.
Cobb is so excited about the momentum in Green Bay that he even teased an unlikely return. "Do I have a couple games in me? I think I got a couple catches," Cobb said.
"The mind is always there. We always think we are going to go out and there and do it. When I watched them this weekend - you watch and miss those moments."

The Parsons trade saga lasted most of the summer, with the player refusing to participate until a new deal was agreed upon. Jones maintained that the holdout was part of negotiations until Parsons was suddenly traded to the Packers.
The Cowboys traded Parsons to the Packers in exchange for Kenny Clark and two future first-round draft picks. After arriving in Green Bay, Parsons signed a four-year, $188 million extension, becoming the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
While Parsons got paid, he faced criticism from Cowboys fans on social media. The pass rusher also had a light-hearted back-and-forth with former teammate Dak Prescott before they faced off in Week 4.

Players must deal with social media trolls daily, but Cobb recently put technology aside when competing in FOX's Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Cobb trained and endured the extreme circumstances of military warfare, but enjoyed being tested,
"Just the fact that we didn't have our phone. No distractions. No distractions," Cobb said of the show. "You're having conversations, you're getting deep, really fast learning about each other in a different light that probably wouldn't do it even with teammates, right?
"It created these special, unique moments where we all were just touched. It takes more than just the athletic ability. There is a lot of physical demands, but there's some mental and psychological demands that you just can't prepare for if you're not thrown in that situation, the interrogations."
