The Chicago Bears are going to have a new kicker in Week 6 as they take on the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football. With Cairo Santos hurting his quad in the Week 4 win over Las Vegas, it flared up on him again this week despite a Friday FULL practice for him.
Now, the Bears have officially ruled him out for the game and instead, Jake Moody will make his Bears debut. The Bears signed Moody to the practice squad a few weeks back as the 49ers opted to release him after key misses to start the season. His first task? Kicking in the rain on the road in primetime.
The full inactives for the Bears:
- K Cairo Santos
- QB Case Keenum
- WR Jahdae Walker
- DL Grady Jarrett
- LB Ruben Hyppolite
- OL Luke Newman
- DL Tanoh Kpassagnon
