New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields had a rough go of things in Week 6 against the Denver Broncos in an international game in London. The Jets’ defense managed to keep them in the game, but Fields struggled to get through his reads and held on to the ball too long, resulting in a whopping nine sacks, and leading to a total passing output of negative ten yards for New York on the day.
However, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn didn’t throw his quarterback under the bus after the game.
“There’s a number of other guys that have to pick their game up too, so I don’t want to sit there and pin this all on Justin,” Glenn said.
“You just can’t sit there and say, ‘Oh man, we’re going to bench him,’ because I thought in some other games he’s played well. So I’m not looking at this as just, ‘Man, he played the bad game, we’re going to bench him.’ I don’t see it that way.”
Unfortunately, it’ll be harder than ever for Fieldst to show improvement, as news has surfaced that his top target is set to miss some time, according to one prominent insider around the league.
“An MRI today revealed that Jets WR Garrett Wilson hyperextended his knee and he now is expected to miss, as one source said, “a couple of weeks,” reported ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter on Monday.

“The Bills should hyperextend Garrett Wilson to their roster,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“What a disaster of a season, 0-17 is a lock,” someone else added.
“Honestly, just put this stud on ice until they can get rid of the only QB in the league worse than Jalen Hurts,” another fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see how things shake out for Fields from here.
