Garrett Wilson
A lost season for the New York Jets took another turn for the worse yesterday as the team learned that star receiver Garrett Wilson will miss time with a hyperextended knee. This, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.
An MRI today revealed that Jets WR Garrett Wilson hyperextended his knee and he now is expected to miss, as one source said, “a couple of weeks.” pic.twitter.com/HBOBdEfBI2

Wilson’s loss leaves the Jets without a reliable wide receiver on the roster which makes it difficult to envision Gang Green finding the end zone this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. No specific number was mentioned in terms of how many weeks Wilson will miss, with Schefter saying one source told him it would be “a couple” of weeks.
