David Moyes may have a significant call to make on whether to play Vitalii Mykolenko as Everton face Manchester City on Saturday.
The Toffees will travel to the Etihad Stadium on 18 October as they look to build a winning run after beating Crystal Palace in the Premier League on 5 October.
Jack Grealish will be unavailable against Man City, and now the Scottish manager could potentially have another concern regarding his starting lineup.
The left side of the Blues’ defence has seen Moyes make some interesting choices, like playing James Garner in the position, and that scenario may be seen yet again.

Ukraine goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin wasn’t pleased after Mykolenko scored an own goal against Azerbaijan on 13 October, according to Blik.

Mykolenko played the entire fixture, completing 76 per cent of his passes, 20 per cent of his long balls, losing possession 23 times and winning just one of his three ground duels, as per Sofascore.
The left-back isn’t coming back from international duty in the best of form, which arguably will be a problem for the Merseyside outfit against Man City.
Adam Aznou to finally get chance under David Moyes
Adam Aznou has been a peripheral figure at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this season, not playing a single minute for the first team so far.
Everton spent £8million in the summer to sign the Morocco international from Bayern Munich, but it doesn’t look like Moyes fancies him.

While Man City will arguably be a tough first test for the 19-year-old if he does get a start, it feels like the right time to gauge the depth of the squad in L4.
Aznou played at the highest level for Bayern on a few occasions, and there’s no reason why he can’t handle the pressures of the Premier League.
