NBA-to-EuroLeague Rookie Ladder: Clear frontrunner and tight battle in Top 5

To track the best EuroLeague rookies from the NBA, BasketNews presents the first NBA-to-EuroLeague rookie ladder, selecting the Top 10 rookies based on current performance and overall season projections.

This season, we've seen plenty of big-name players make their way to the EuroLeague straight from the NBA.

To track the best EuroLeague rookies from the NBA, BasketNews presents the first NBA-to-EuroLeague rookie ladder, selecting the Top 10 rookies based on current performance and overall season projections.

BasketNews staff members ranked the 10 best players from a pool of 19 newcomers who came directly from the NBA, with a few slight exceptions.

Players who spent even a small portion of the season playing in Europe were not included, meaning names like Lonnie Walker IV, Omari Moore, and others were excluded.

However, the list does include players such as Hamidou Diallo, who spent a brief portion of the 2024 season in China but had never played in Europe prior to this EuroLeague season.

While the rankings of most players fluctuated considerably, there was one clear front-runner who was almost unanimously selected as the best NBA-to-EuroLeague rookie so far.

Other players, such as Devonte' Graham from Crvena Zvezda, have yet to fully showcase their abilities due to injuries, making the list unpredictable at the start of the season.
