**Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium has secured its first prestigious award.**
The 52,729-capacity venue, which officially opened in August, was named as the ‘Outstanding Development of the Year’ at the Liverpool City Region Property Awards.
Judges described the waterfront stadium as a “world-class development that anchors North Liverpool and will be a catalyst for further regeneration in the area”.
Hill Dickinson Stadium is also shortlisted in a further two categories at the upcoming The Stadium Business awards which will be taking place in December.
The stadium is in the running for Project of the Year, awarded to a completed new build or an existing structure that has been expanded, modernised or enhanced.
A second nomination has been received in the Facade and Exterior category, which recognises the visually striking element of a facade, cladding or exterior wrap.
