Barcelona have suffered yet another injury problem with Robert Lewandowski the latest player to sustain an injury during the international break.
Here’s the club’s official statement:
“Robert Lewandowski has suffered a muscle tear in the biceps femoris of his left thigh. His recovery time will depend on how the injury evolves,” read a club statement.
The injury is yet another problem for Hansi Flick as he prepares his team to return to action after defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and Sevilla.
The Barcelona boss has seen Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres return early from international duty and now has another problem with Lewandowski.
Flick will also be watching nervously as more of his players are in action later. Pedri and Pau Cubarsi are due to play for Spain, while Marcus Rashford is in action for England.
