Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was not at 100 percent when he stepped on the field last Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. He reportedly vomited before and even during the game.
“It was a couple times I was on the field, I was coughing, everybody like, ‘Man, are you all right?’” Jacobs said, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic . “I’m like, ‘We’ll figure it out’ … I still feel bad right now. Yeah, yeah, I’m ready to go lay down.”
Despite feeling under the weather, the former Alabama Crimson Tide star running back still led Green Bay with 93 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns on 18 carries. He averaged 5.2 yards per carry, which was the best he’s had in a game, so far in the 2025 NFL regular season. Additionally, the 27-year-old Jacobs recorded 57 receiving yards on five catches and five targets.
