£78m Arsenal, Man United And Chelsea Transfer Target Reveals Stance On Move Amid Contract Rumours

Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United transfer target Kenan Yildiz has revealed his stance on a move amid rumours of a new contract at Juventus.

The Gunners will be heading into the January transfer window hoping to add some more talent to get them over the line in the Premier League title race. They have a lot of attacking talent now with the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke and Bukayo Saka.

However, reports have suggested that Arsenal are interested in Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz, with reports saying that the Gunners could offer a partial swap deal involving striker Gabriel Jesus, who is still recovering from his long-term ACL injury.

Yildiz is in demand, and he’s also impressed in the Serie A so far this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists since the start of the year. Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United have all been linked with the Turkish international who Juventus wants to keep. There has now been a major update regarding his stance on a move.

Yildiz close to signing new Juventus contract and rejecting Arsenal

Amid the Gunners’ links to Yildiz, reports in Italy are now claiming that the 20-year-old is happy at Juventus, and likely to sign a new long-term contract.

According to Italian news outlet Tuttosport, Yildiz is in talks with Juventus over a new deal, and is set to reject the interest from the Premier League in favour of staying with his current club and continuing to develop under manager Igor Tudor.

This means that if the Gunners want to sign another attacker, they will have to consider alternative targets in the January transfer window, as Yildiz looks all but impossible to sign, especially if he agrees a new contract.

Who could the Gunners sign instead?

In terms of players that the Gunners could go after other than Yildiz, Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman remains an attacker who has been linked with a move to the Emirates, and he plays a similar role to Yildiz.

Lookman is a left-winger who can play all across the front line, which matches Yildiz’s mould. However, while Yildiz is younger and more of a target for the future, Lookman is 27 years-old, and reports have said that Arsenal could sign him on loan rather than a permanent transfer.

So far this season, Lookman has had some injury struggles so he’s only made three appearances. However, last year he scored 20 goals, and provided seven assists in 40 appearances for the Italian club.
