It captured Patrick Mahomes drilling Dan Campbell with the coldest side-eye in recent NFL memory. The image went nuclear on social media within hours.

After Brian Branch’s punch on JuJu Smith-Schuster triggered a bench-clearing scrum, the game settled, and players lined up for the usual postgame handshakes. That’s when cameras caught Mahomes locked onto Campbell. The three-time Super Bowl champ side-eyeing the Lions coach literally makes the day for many Chiefs fans.

You probably know about the brawl that erupted on SNF after the Chiefs-Lions game. When everything finally cleared up, players from both teams began shaking hands. But it was just a formality. The bad blood still simmered between the players and coaches.
A photo from the chaos showed Patrick Mahomes giving Lions coach Dan Campbell a sharp side-eye, as if silently warning him to control his players through his evil look.
The quarterback who usually keeps his composure looked absolutely pissed in the perfectly timed snap. His eyes screamed what his mouth wouldn’t say due to some barriers. So, the image spread faster than a Travis Kelce lateral.

Fans dissected every pixel of Mahomes’ predator look.
One fan wrote, “He Wants More Blood.”
Another user noted, “Stand down son.”
A third user claimed, “Pat doesn’t want that smok.e”
A fourth user added, “Oh it’s scorched earth time now for Patty now that rice is bac.k”
A fifth added, “Mahomes doesn’t trust this ma.n”
The sixth claimed, “This has to be a Super Bowl matchup now.”
The viral snap captured the serious beef after Branch’s cheap shot. Mahomes’ predator glare said it all, and Campbell got the message. Now the question is whether these squads continue the bad blood in February or not.

Both coaches tried playing damage control after the mess. Their words couldn’t erase what the cameras caught.
Mahomes said his team plays “the game in between the whistles” in response to the postgame altercation. He added, “At this point, it kind of is what it is. You just gotta move on. We won the football game. I thought we did a great job and played well, but now we’re onto the Raiders.”

Meanwhile, the Lions coach went into full apology mode. “I love Brian Branch, but what he did is inexcusable, and it’s not going to be accepted here. It’s not what we do. It’s not what we’re about. I apologized to Coach Reid and the Chiefs, and Smith-Schuster. That’s not OK”, Campbell said during his presser.
