Week 7 NFL Offense Rankings: Patriots Continue to Prove Elite Status

With Week 6 of the NFL season in the books, now is a perfect time to reevaluate the pecking order of the best and worst offenses in the league right now. With that in mind, take a look at our brand new NFL offense rankings heading into Week 7 of the 2025 season.

32. Cleveland Browns (LW: 31)

The Cleveland Browns’ offense has been an unsurprising mess again in 2025. While Joe Flacco was given the keys to the offense, the greybeard’s poor play led to getting benched after four starts. Thus far, the lone bright spot has been the strong play of rookie running back Quinshon Judkins.

The unit continued to be terrible in Week 6. With the Steelers focusing on Judkins and limiting him to just 36 yards, the onus was on rookie Dillon Gabriel to pick up the slack, and he couldn’t. He hit on just 29 of 52 passes and was sacked six times as the offense could only manage 9 points in another loss on Sunday.

31. Tennessee Titans (LW: 32)

In 2024, the Tennessee Titans’ offense was one of the worst in the league. Despite some solid skills players like Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard, as well as No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward in 2025, the unit remains among the very baddest in the NFL.

After scoring 22 and getting their first win last week, the Tennessee offense again struggled in Week 6 against the Raiders. The rookie had moments, but any positivity was undercut by his three turnovers, including two fumbles. It is why they lost 20-10 instead of scoring a second straight win. It played a key role in head coach Brian Callahan being fired on Monday

30. New Orleans Saints (LW: 30)

Despite speculation that rookie Tyler Shough would win the starting QB job, the New Orleans Saints have gone with 2024 fifth-rounder Spencer Rattler as their starting QB over the first half of 2025. With an offensive-minded coach and solid weapons in Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave, the NO offense should be a solid unit.

Unfortunately, they have been unable to get the different facets of their offense playing well all at once. That was the case again in Week 6 as the run game managed just 73 total yards. Rattler was solid as he hit on 20 of 26 passes for 227 yards, but their 19 points weren’t enough in another loss this weekend.

29. New York Jets (LW: 25)

New New York Jets head coach Aaron Glen had a major challenge ahead in his debut season. While the offense has a couple of high-impact talents in Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall, new starting QB Justin Fields did not look good this summer.

Week 6 offered up a new low point for the offense as Fields managed just 76 total yards in an ugly loss to the Broncos in London. They could do nothing offensively and showed they are actually regressing as the season goes along, instead of getting better.

28. Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 29)

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals’ offense were expected to be one of the best units in 2025. However, after Burrow suffered an injury that should sideline him for the rest of the regular season, the unit has scuffled to try and replace their top star.

After backup Jake Browning was a disaster in his starts, the team traded for former Browns starter Joe Flacco, and he was solid in his Week 6 debut. Hitting on 29 of 25 passes for 219 yards, 2 TDs, and no INTs. Unsurprisingly, the offense managed just 18 points in a loss to the Packers. Nevertheless, the journeyman gave the offense hope for the weeks ahead.

27. Arizona Cardinals (LW: 27)

The Arizona Cardinals’ offense has the pieces to be a pretty good unit. The big question was, would everything come together for them in 2025? That will be tough to do after they lost James Conner to a season-ending foot injury early in the year. Marvin Harrison Jr. also hasn’t been able to consistently get momentum going in his career.

In Week 6, Kyler Murray was sidelined. However, the offense played well under backup Jacoby Brissett. In his Cards debut, the journeyman QB threw for over 300 yards and 2 TDs. However, a late surge by a talented Colts offense meant the 27 points Arizona scored this weekend weren’t enough to get the W.

26. Carolina Panthers (LW: 28)

Last season, Bryce Young showed growth. While he didn’t fill up the stat sheet, he gave Carolina Panthers management reason to believe the former No. 1 overall pick still can be the future of their organization. Unfortunately, he still remains very inconsistent in his third season in the league.

Nevertheless, he played well against a bad Cowboys defense in Week 6 as he tossed 3 TDs to 1 INT in a big upset win. However, the star of the show was former Dallas RB Rico Dowdle, as he had another outstanding day. Rushing for 183 yards on 30 carries this weekend.

25. New York Giants (LW: 26)

The New York Giants’ offense has undergone a notable evolution in 2025. Despite signing former Seahawks star Russell Wilson, he was benched after three games for rookie Jaxson Dart. Fellow rookie Cam Skattebo has emerged as a lead back, but they have lost Malik Nabers for the season due to an ACL tear.

Dart continued to show his potential in Week 6 as he posted 253 total yards and a pair of TDs (one rushing) as he led the offense to 34 points in a huge win over the Eagles. Skattebo also had a big day with 98 yards and 3 TDs on the ground in just 19 carries.

24. Miami Dolphins (LW: 24)

nfl offense rankings

The Miami Dolphins’ offense disappointed in 2024 after QB Tua Tagovailoa missed much of the first half and top receiver Tyreek Hill showed signs he may be exiting his prime. On paper, they should be a formidable group in the AFC if they can stay healthy. But that is unlikely in 2025 after the unit took a massive hit in Week 4 when Hill suffered a season-ending leg injury.

For a second-straight week, the Miami offense played well as a team without Hill as they got a much-needed big day from the run game with De’Von Achane rushing for a season high 128 yards and two TDs. Unfortunately, three INTs from Tagovailoa killed any chance of scoring an upset win over the Chargers in Week 6.

23. Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 19)

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ offense was a major disappointment last season. Even when former No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence was available, they struggled. They’ll hope for a turnaround this year with new head coach Liam Coen and the help of Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.

After scoring a big come-from-behind win last week, the Jags’ O was held in check by the Seahawks on Sunday. While they had no turnover, Seattle’s pass rush hounded Lawrence all day as they posted seven sacks. The run game was also shut down in the loss by the Seahawks’ front seven, rushing for just 59 total yards.

22. Houston Texans (LW: 22)

Despite some high expectations after adding Joe Mixon and Stefon Diggs last year, the Houston Texans‘ offense never really reached its potential during the 2024 season as CJ Stroud battled through a sophomore slump. If he can’t return to the player he looked like in 2023, it will lead to a big shift in how good the Texans are projected to be in the years ahead.

After a rock-solid performance last week, Stroud and the Texans’ offense played well again on Sunday. The young QB hit on 23 of 27 passes for 240 yards and four TDs versus the Ravens. He oversaw a total team effort in Week 5 as Houston obliterated a banged-up Ravens team to the tune of a 44-10 win.

21. Las Vegas Raiders (LW: 21)

nfl offense rankings

Credit: Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

The Las Vegas Raiders offense’s lone bright spot last year was the emergence of Brock Bowers as one of the best tight ends in the league. And he did that with a messy QB situation. However, they are hoping veteran QB Geno Smith and first-round RB Ashton Jeanty can help make the unit one to respect in 2025.

After a terrible performance last week, the Raiders’ offense was better in Week 6. Smith only threw 1 INT, and it was their lone turnover on Sunday. They only managed 20 points, but it was enough to beat a far worse Titans offense this weekend.

20. Chicago Bears (LW: 23)

nfl offense rankings

The Chicago Bears’ offense looked promising early in 2024 but experienced a steady decline for much of last season. It has been the opposite this year. After some early struggles under new head coach Ben Johnson, the Bear O seems to be on an upward swing right now.

In a big Week 6 game against the Commanders, the unit delivered a rock-solid all-around effort. D’Andre Swift posted 108 yards on the ground in just 14 carries, while Caleb Williams avoided big mistakes and helped lead the team down the field for a final-minute drive to get a game-winning field goal.

19. Minnesota Vikings (LW: 18)

nfl offense rankings

The Minnesota Vikings’ offense will be one of the most intriguing groups to watch in 2025. After Pro Bowler Sam Darnold left in free agency, all the pressure was on 2024 first-rounder JJ McCarthy to prove Minny made the right move to make him the starting QB. However, an early-season injury has forced journeyman Carson Wentz into several starts this year.

In Week 5, they got a big game from Justin Jefferson as his 123 yards saved them from a big upset loss to the Browns in London. Wentz was solid (236 yards and a 1 TD). However, he is not giving any reason to think there is a growing QB controversy in Minnesota.

18. Atlanta Falcons (LW: 20)

nfl offense rankings

It seemed like the Atlanta Falcons’ offense made the right move in 2024 when they moved on from expensive free agent addition Kirk Cousins to make Michael Penix Jr. their new starting QB. He showed signs of his potential late in 2024. However, he has struggled at times this season and was even benched in Week 3.

After having a big bounce-back day last week, Penix Jr. and the offense played well again on Sunday in a big win over the Bills. However, the star of the show was RB Bijan Robinson as he dominated Buffalo’s run defense. Rumbling for 170 yards and a TD this weekend.

17. Denver Broncos (LW: 17)

After some early-season struggles with rookie QB Bo Nix, the Denver Broncos’ offense got much better in the second half of the 2024 season. While they haven’t taken big leaps forward this season, Denver’s offense has continued that momentum and been competitive in 2025.

While it wasn’t pretty, the Broncos did enough on Sunday in London to get a win over the Jets. Nix avoided turnovers and spread the ball around in a forgettable 13-10 win.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 12)

nfl offense rankings

The PhiladelphiaEagles’ adding Saquon Barkley last year proved to be a paradigm shift moment in the NFC. The former Giants star delivered an MVP-caliber season in his debut and gave them one of the most balanced units in the league. However, he and the unit have not been as formidable this season.

Week 6 was another frustrating one as Barkley was limited to just 58 yards. While they got 110 yards and a TD through the air from veteran Dallas Goedert, the Giants’ defense got two turnovers and held them to just 17 points in an upset loss.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 16)

nfl offense rankings

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense is led by another QB well past his prime in 2025. This time, it will be league legend Aaron Rodgers. While they added DK Metcalf, they lost Najee Harris in free agency and traded George Pickens. While they aren’t an elite group, they avoid being the weak link most Sundays and have held up their end of the bargain this season.

In Week 6, the Pittsburgh offense again didn’t put up amazing numbers, but they were solid and put up 23 points against a legit Browns defense in their win. Rodgers has been good and has 10 TDs to 3 INTs after six games.

14. Washington Commanders (LW: 15)

nfl offense rankings

Top pick and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels was everything the Washington Commanders’ offense could have hoped for and more in 2024. That is why they have even higher expectations this year. However, dual-threat RB Austin Ekeler’s season-ending injury was a big blow to the unit.

On Sunday, the run game was good again as Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Daniels combined for 113 yards on the ground. The QB also tossed 3 TDs. However, a huge fumble late (his second turnover of the game) played a massive role in DC’s one-point loss in Week 6.

13. San Francisco 49ers (LW: 13)

nfl offense rankings

The San Francisco 49ers brought back the same unit as 2024, sans Deebo Samuel. But they began the season without WR1 Brandon Aiyuk, and unfortunately, they have dealt with early-season injuries to offensive stars George Kittle and Brock Purdy.

After playing well the last few weeks, backup Mac Jones had a frustrating day this weekend. Although the QB threw for 347 yards and he and Kendrick Bourne dominated the Bucs defense at times, his 2 INTs played a huge role in their 30-19 loss. It wasted a 111 total yard total performance from Christian McCaffrey.

12. Green Bay Packers (LW: 9)

nfl offense rankings

More was expected from Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs, and the Green Bay Packers offense in 2024. The expectations remain high this year despite an underwhelming showing last season. Especially with the addition of first-round pick Matthew Golden.

In Week 6, the Packers offense put forth an all-around team effort. Love was efficient as he connected on 19 of 26 passes for 259 yards, Jacobs ran for 93 and 2 TDs, and Golden chipped in with 86 receiving yards.

11. Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 8)

nfl offense rankings

With Jim Harbaugh as head coach, the Los Angeles Chargers‘ offense relied less on the passing game and aimed to be a more balanced group. In year two for their coach, the offense seemed primed for another step forward, but major injuries to their backfield have hurt their progress.

On Sunday, the unit got a surprisingly big day from 2024 sixth-rounder Kimani Vidal as he rumbled for 124 yards against the Dolphins. Along with 100 receiving yards from Ladd McConkey, LA was able to eke out a hard-fought 29-27 win this weekend.

10. New England Patriots (LW: 14)

nfl offense rankings

Rookie Drake Maye wasn’t the problem with the New England Patriots’ offense in 2024. Now, with some better pieces around him and Mike Vrabel in charge as head coach, the unit is showing they have a potential franchise QB running the show this year.

The Pats offense’s momentum continued again on Sunday despite a quiet day from the run game (73 total yards). Maye was very efficient as he connected on 18 of his 26 passes for 261 yards, 3 TDs, and most importantly, 0 INTs. They scored 25 points in their win this weekend, and the QB now has a TD to INT ratio of 10-2.

9. Baltimore Ravens (LW: 5)

nfl offense rankings

The Baltimore Ravens‘ offense was one of the league’s elites last season. They delivered a balanced attack led by superstar Lamar Jackson and backed by future Hall-of-Fame running back Derrick Henry. While they were again fantastic to start the year, the injury bug has led to some tough days for the unit in recent weeks.

After an ugly showing last week, the Ravens’ offense again struggled with Jackson sidelined. They played two different QBs on Sunday, and they still only managed just a bit over 100 yards combined. Despite the Rams’ defense focusing on Henry, he nonetheless rumbled for 122 yards on the ground. It still wasn’t enough to help Baltimore’s O score more than 3 points.

8. Seattle Seahawks (LW: 11)

nfl offense rankings

The Seattle Seahawks’ offense was a solid group in 2024. The unit has been even better this year by switching from Geno Smith to Sam Darnold at QB. Plus, stud receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is proving each week why he is a legit and dangerous WR1 in the NFL.

The dynamic combo of Darnold and JSN delivered again on Sunday. While the unit only scored 20 in their win, it was mostly due to the QB and WR pitching and catching for big plays. The receiver had another huge day as he posted 162 yards on eight catches while Darnold threw 2 more TDs to 0 INTs this weekend.

7. Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 10)

nfl offense rankings

Credit: Kevin R. Wexler-NorthJersey.com / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

There are signs that the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense’s best days are behind it. They were not as formidable in 2024, as their receivers were less impactful, and Travis Kelce is in a big career decline. However, the unit is hoping the continued development of certain receivers can take he unit back to elite status in 2025.

In Week 6, their recent momentum continued as they dropped 30 on the Lions. Patrick Mahomes was highly efficient as he hit on 22 of 30 passes for 257 yards, 3 TDs, and no INTs. The run game chipped in with a decent 112 combined yards, and Kelce had one of his best games of the season in the win (6 catches for 78 yards).

6. Dallas Cowboys (LW: 7)

nfl offense rankings

Credit: Scott Kinser-Imagn Images

Last season was a wash for the Dallas Cowboys‘ offense after Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending injury in Week 10. However, a far better season is expected from the unit in 2025 with him back healthy and big-play threat George Pickens joining the unit.

After a couple of outstanding days the last two weeks, the Dallas offense scored 27 in Week 6. Unfortunately, their defense let them down again, and it wasn’t enough to beat the Panthers on Sunday. It wasted a 3 TD, 0 INT performance from Prescott and a huge 168 receiving yard day from Pickens.

5. Los Angeles Rams (LW: 3)

nfl offense rankings

Credit: Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

If Matthew Stafford’s back doesn’t end his season early, the Los Angeles Rams offense can be one of the best units in the NFL again because of the strong skill players they have in Puca Nacua, Davante Adams, and Kyren Williams.

In Week 6, they weren’t as dominant as in previous weeks and might have lost against a better team. However, their 17 points were enough to beat a struggling Ravens team on Sunday. The biggest story from the game wasn’t a big stats day for any player, but Nacua suffered an ankle injury that could sideline him for weeks.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW: 4)

nfl offense rankings

Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images

Baker Mayfield’s career renaissance with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been one of the best stories in football over the last two years. However, running back Bucky Irving added balance to the offense last season, and it is part of why this unit is one of the best in the game.

On Sunday, Mayfield showed why he is in the discussion for MVP after putting up another strong performance despite all of his top skill players being out with injuries. The eight-year veteran threw for 256 yards and 2 TDs as he led the offense to 30 points in a big short-handed win over the 49ers this weekend.

3. Buffalo Bills (LW: 2)

nfl offense rankings

Credit: Robert Deutsch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills‘ offense were one of the best in the league all of last season by using a total team effort, smart play, and a balanced attack. It is why the QB won his first MVP award. All of the pieces from last season are back this year, and they should be very good again.

For a second straight week, the Bills’ offense was held in check. The main reason Buffalo has been so good is that Allen has had so few turnovers. However, in Week 6, he had two big INTs. That, along with being sacked four times by the Falcons, played a pivotal role in limiting the pass game all day. It’s why they scored only 14 points in a big upset loss.

2. Indianapolis Colts (LW: 6)

Syndication: The Indianapolis Star

Daniel Jones beating out Anthony Richardson for the Indianapolis Colts’ starting QB job in the summer created hope that the unit could be better in 2025. However, no one expected the start the unit has gotten off to this season.

In Week 6, the Colts’ offense was pushed in a surprising shootout against the Cardinals. Entering the fourth the team was down by seven. However, the unit roared by with 14 points to get a 31-27 win. The unit was led by another big day from running back Jonathan Taylor (123 yards and 1 TD).

1. Detroit Lions (LW: 1)

nfl offense rankings

Credit: Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The Detroit Lions’ offense was the cream of the crop for much of last season. They could throw over teams but also bludgeon them with a solid run game. However, many wondered if they could maintain that elite play without former OC Ben Johnson. They have and then some in 2025.

However, after being on a major roll the last few games, Detroit’s offense was held in check on Sunday. Although the unit avoided turnovers, they were unable to extend drives and make big plays when they needed them, and scored just 17 points in Week 6. The second-lowest amount they have posted in 2025.
