Indiana Pacers superstar Tyrese Haliburton grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers. However, a hilarious turn of events has led to Haliburton becoming not just a Brewers hater, but one of epic proportions.

On Tuesday night, with the Brewers in Game 1 of the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Haliburton’s hating reached hilarious new heights.

The Milwaukee Brewers Turned Tyrese Haliburton Into Their Biggest Hater

The tension between Haliburton and Milwaukee began a year ago, when the Pacers star led his team to a 4-2 series victory over the Bucks in the NBA playoffs. At the time, Haliburton had been slated to throw out a first pitch for the Brewers later in the season. But after the way the series went, Milwaukee revoked that offer.

Thus began Haliburton’s villain origin story.

From that point on, Haliburton began actively rooting for the Brewers’ biggest rivals, in particular, the Chicago Cubs. In fact, Haliburton showed up to the Pacers’ preseason game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday wearing a Cubs jersey on the same day the two teams squared off in Game 5 of the NLDS.

Unfortunately for Haliburton, his support did little to help the Cubs, who were eliminated with a 3-1 loss.

But that did not deter him! Because it’s not about supporting the Cubs for Haliburton, it’s about his spite toward the Brewers. On Monday night, he turned up to Indiana’s preseason game against the Spurs wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey.

The Dodgers, of course, are playing the Brewers in the NLCS. This time around, it appears to have worked. Los Angeles won Game 1 in Milwaukee in dramatic fashion.

Brewers fans were extremely bothered by the fantastic troll job.

Ultimately, the Bucks have a relatively recent championship ring, and the Brewers are still playing for a World Series ring. So things are pretty good in Milwaukee. But Haliburton’s commitment to the bit is an all-time great level of hating.
