For the first time in more than two decades, the Green Bay Packers decided to take a wide receiver in the first round of the NFL Draft.
The fact that they chose to spend such valuable capital to get Matthew Golden speaks volumes about his talent and about the way they feel about him.
And while he got off to a slow and somewhat erratic start to his career, the former Texas Longhorns star has gotten better by the week.
With that in mind, he took to X to express how thankful he was after posting a career-best effort in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals:
“God is good,” Golden posted on X.
God is good.

Golden just posted the best game of his young career.
He hauled in three receptions on five targets for 86 yards, adding two carries for 16 yards.
He has yet to find paydirt and score his first career touchdown, but it should be just a matter of time.
The Packers will get another weapon for the passing game when Christian Watson makes his season debut from a torn ACL injury.
There are a lot of mouths to feed in Wisconsin, but head coach Matt LaFleur has always done a very good job of keeping everybody involved, and Jordan Love has also been known for his willingness to spread the wealth among his teammates.
Golden is a prime weapon with a bright future ahead of him, not to mention one of the fastest young players in the entire National Football League.
