Baltimore Ravens cut star

The Baltimore Ravens are really struggling so far this season, sitting at 1-5 in a year where they expected to compete for the Super Bowl. Still, head coach John [Harbaugh is working toward steering the team back to the playoffs.](https://thecomeback.com/nfl/ravens-still-gunning-for-playoff-spot.html)

“Our focus is going forward and what we can accomplish for the next 11 games to try to earn our way into the playoffs, which obviously, as \[it was\] pointed out last night, has not been done very often with the record we have,” Harbaugh said. “But, we still believe we can do it.”

It seems the Ravens have decided the best path forward is to let go of one of the most recognizable names on their roster.

“Ravens are releasing S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson after the safety’s agent Kevin Conner and Ravens officials came to “an amicable mutual decision”, per Conner. “After the Ravens traded for a safety, we were looking for a clearer path to play,” Conner added,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Another Harbaugh can’t take alpha guys move. Can’t have anyone challenging or questioning him when they are 1-5,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Is this dude that much of a locker room cancer? Hes obviously talented but seems like no one wants to put up with him,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see where the veteran lands.
