Week 7 Fantasy Streamers: Best QB, RB, WR, TE, and D/ST Sleepers this Week

While there are only two NFL teams on bye this week, the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills, injuries have left many fantasy football managers with limited options at various positions. As we prepare for this weekends slate, we’re identifying some fantasy football streamers for Week 7, some of whom can be grabbed off the waiver wire or in free agency.

Let’s dive into some of our top Week 7 fantasy streaming options at each position.

QB: Aaron Rodgers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be without Trey Hendrickson on Thursday Night Football, a devastating blow for a defense that already has the fifth-lowest pressure rate (16 percent) in the NFL. That matters because Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has the sixth-highest QB rating (123.7), the seventh-best completion rate (77.1 percent) amd the fourth-most passing touchdowns (nine) from a clean pocket this season. We really like Rodgers is a top-10 fantasy quarterback in Week 7.

QB: Bryce Young at New York Jets

The Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is beginning to settle in as an effective starter, posting a 91.4 QB rating with a 64 percent completion rate and a 9-3 TD-INT line with a rushing touchdown in his last five games. What’s also notable is that, since Rico Dowdle took over as Carolina’s featured back, Young is averaging 2.5 passing touchdowns per game with 200 passing yards per contest. While Young’s upside isn’t through the roof, he’s a safe option in Week 7 versus a New York Jets defense that has allowed 12 passing touchdowns this season with 8 passing touchdowns surrendered in the last four games.

RB: Kimani Vidal vs. Indianapolis Colts

With Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton sidelined, fantasy football managers first went after Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins. He netted just seven touches, totaling 15 scrimmage yards. Meanwhile, Kimani Vidal turned 21 touches into 138 scrimmage yards. In Week 7, Vidal faces an Indianapolis Colts defense that is allowing a 4.3 yards-per-carry average this season and the fifth-most targets (40) to running backs in the NFL. Vidal might not have this job long-term, but he’s an RB2 in PPR scoring for Week 7.

RB: Jacory Croskey-Merritt at Dallas Cowboys

Jacory “Bill” Croskey-Merritt didn’t make the most of his expanded opportunities on Monday Night Football, averaging just 3.6 yards per carry on 17 attempts (61 yards) and he lost a fumble. What matters to us is the fact he finished with a career-high in offensive snaps (43) and seems to be the RB1 in this Washington Commanders offense. Given the Dallas Cowboys have surrendered 524 rushing yards (174.7 rush ypg) and a 5.5 ypc average in the last three weeks, we see Croskey-Merritt as a high-end RB2 with top-10 upside in this fantastic Week 7 matchup.

WR: Sterling Shepard at Detroit Lions

Chris Godwin and Emeka Egbuka are definitively ruled out for Week 7, while Mike Evans could be a game-time decision for a Monday Night Football matchup against the Detroit Lions. We’re all on-board the Sterling Shepard train/ The 32-year-old’s rapport with Baker Mayfield dates back to their time together with the Oklahoma Sooners. When a quarterback gets rushed by pressure, the first instinct is to go to a pass-catcher they trust. Shepard is that guy for Mayfield and given how banged-up the Lions’ secondary is, the ceiling is a 100-yard game and a score for Shepard.

WR: Kayshon Boutte at Tennessee Titans

Stefon Diggs is the unquestioned No. 1 receiver for Drake Maye, but we also see a golden opportunity here for Kayshon Boutte to build off his breakthrough game. The Tennessee Titans rank 24th in the NFL in EPA per Play (0.12) and 30th in EPA per Pass (0.39) when trailing. It’s also worth keeping in mind that Boutte has either scored a touchdown or eclipsed 90 receiving yards in half his games this season. This is a risk-reward play, but Boutte is a worthwhile gamble in a good matchup for fantasy managers hurting at wide receiver.

TE: Harold Fannin Jr. vs. Miami Dolphins

David Njoku is dealing with a knee injury that, given the reports of him being on the trade block, could keep him out in Week 7. In two games with Dillon Gabriel as the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback, rookie Harold Fannin Jr. has 111 receiving yards on 14 targets. Notably, the Miami Dolphins have allowed the third-most receiving yards (410) to tight ends this season. Fannin Jr. can be a top-eight fantasy tight end this week.

D/ST: Patriots D/ST at Tennessee Titans

You know it’s an unusual season when a pair of Patriots and Panthers’ selection make it into our picks for Week 7 fantasy streamers. Mike Vrabel will see this matchup against the Tennessee Titans as an opportunity for revenge. He’s also a fantastic motivator and his defense will feed off his energy for this matchup. Of course, the vibes are just part of the reason to love the Patriots D/ST in Week 7. The icing on the proverbial cake is the fact that Tennessee ranks 30th in scoring rate (28.4 percent) with the third-highest sack rate allowed (11 percent) and this Titans’ offense has the fifth-highest turnover rate (14.9 percent) in the NFL this season.

D/ST: Panthers D/ST at New York Jets

From a historically bad defense in 2024 to a unit we’re recommending as a streaming option on Sunday, life comes at you fast. The only thing the New York Jets offense does well is run the football, with nearly 49 percent of their total yards (1st in NFL) coming on the ground. Carolina has allowed just 73.4 rushing yards per game in the last five weeks, with opponents averaging just 3.4 yards per carry. We should also mention that New York will be without Garrett Wilson (knee). We wouldn’t recommend starting the Panthers D/ST most weeks, but this is an exception.
