Robinson’s beast form came in the second quarter when he broke through Buffalo’s defense for an 81-yard touchdown. Bills safety Cole Bishop attempted a diving tackle at the 45-yard line, but Robinson shrugged him off and powered the rest of the way to the end zone.

James’ tweet summed up the phenomenal play:

The 81-yard touchdown was both the longest rush of Robinson’s career and the longest in the NFL this season. He finished with a career-best 238 total yards from scrimmage, including 170 rushing yards on 19 carries in the 10-point win.

Robinson’s teammate and cornerback A.J. Terrell had high praise for him postgame.

“He just keeps better,” Terrellsaid. “Everything he does just seems so easy. Then you look around the league and realize how special he is. The way he can turn a simple play in to a huge, big play.”

Terrell’s description of Robinson matches the running back’s goal, which is to “get better at and continue to get better at every single day.”

Robinson and teammate Drake London became the first Falcons duo in the past 20 seasons to each gain at least 100 yards from scrimmage in the same half.

Monday marked Robinson’s 11th consecutive game with at least 90 yards from scrimmage, and outspoken sports analyst Skip Bayless was high on the Falcons star.

“Bijan Robinson is as great off the field as he is on it. He will soon be the NFL’s best running back, if he isn’t already,” Bayless tweeted.

Meanwhile, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris went extra on Robinson, saying:

“He’s the best player in football. I’ve said it several times. I can’t say it enough.

“It always feels like he’s going to break one of those every single time he touches the ball, so it was nice for him to finally get one. It was the longest play of his career, whatever the case may be. But we’ve been waiting for that moment.”

The Falcons will play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
