Pro Bowl offensive tackle Charles Leno has announced his retirement from the NFL two years to the day since the tragic death of his baby daughter.
Leno, who spent seven seasons with the [Chicago Bears](/sport/chicago-bears/index.html) before a three-year spell in Washington, took to Instagram to share the news on Tuesday.
He has brought the curtain down on his career exactly two years on from his wife Jen's heartbreaking miscarriage, which saw them lose daughter Paitynn Maui Leno.
