Pokes in the Pros: Week 6

CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming has produced several NFL players currently making an impact. Here’s how they did in the most recent week’s slate of games.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

The Bills’ star quarterback struggled for the first time this season on Monday in a 24-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Allen was 15 for 26 on his passing attempts, good for 180 yards. It marked just the second time this season that he was held to under 200 passing yards. And while he threw a pair of touchdowns, Allen also threw two interceptions and was sacked four times.

Through the first six weeks of the season, Allen has throws for 1,937 yards on a completion percentage of roughly 68%. His 11 passing TDs are the currently tied for the fifth-most in the NFL.

The Bills will enjoy their bye in Week 7, but will return in the following week with a game against the Carolina Panthers.

Frank Crum, Denver Broncos

The Broncos were victorious this week in a low-scoring 13-11 nailbiter against the New York Jets, but Crum — a second-year offensive lineman — did not take the field.

Crum has yet to see action this season, but he will next have a chance to play against the New York Giants this coming week.

Marcus Epps, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles faltered on Thursday in a 34-17 loss to the New York Giants, but Epps — who has seen limited action this season — had his best game of the season.

Epps took the field for 21 downs against the Giants, a season high. In that time, he recorded a pair of tackles, which is also his best mark this year.

On the season, Epps has four total tackles.

The Eagles will hit the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7.

Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints

Granderson, who has emerged as a defensive leader for the Saints in recent seasons, had one of his quieter games in some time on Sunday in a 25-19 loss to the New England Patriots.

Coming off the bench, Granderson recorded just one tackle in Sunday’s loss.

Thus far this season, Granderson has racked up 27 tackles, 4.5 sacks — tied for the eighth-most in the league — six tackles for loss and six quarterback hits.

Granderson and the Saints will square off against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Chad Muma, Indianapolis Colts

The Colts continued their surprisingly hot start to the season in Week 6 with a 31-27 comeback win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Muma saw limited playing time in the game, recording one tackle in 24 downs, the second-most playing time he’s seen this season.

The Colts will look to stay hot on Sunday when they face the Los Angeles Chargers.

Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals

Wilson, a Casper native, was solid on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. It ultimately didn’t matter though, as the struggling Bengals dropped their fourth straight game, falling 27-18.

Wilson had four tackles in the effort, which is his lowest mark of the season. Thus far this season, he has 37 tackles and a fumble recovery.

The Bengals will look to get back in the wins column on Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars

Wingard, who has come into his own thus far in the 2025-26 season, continued his impressive play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, though it came in a 20-12 losing effort.

Wingard had five tackles in the loss, giving him at least five in all but one game so far this season.

Through six weeks, Wingard boasts 34 tackles, one interception and a fumble recovery.

The Jags’ next test will come against the LA Rams.
