A little over a year ago, he was projected by some to be the Denver Broncos running back of the future. A fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame, many thought the five-foot-11, 227-pound bruiser would be the perfect ballcarrier in Sean Payton’s offense.
It never materialized. As a rookie, Audric Estime posted just 310 rushing yards on 76 carries, including two touchdowns. This season, he was released during training camp, ending his short tenure with the Broncos.
After being cut by Denver, Estime found a new home. But on Tuesday, that stint came to an abrupt end, as well.
The #Eagles are releasing RB Audric Estime from their practice squad, as the former #Broncos fifth rounder is now a FA.

What’s next for the former Fighting Irish star? It’s hard to say. Less than a year-and-a-half into his NFL career, Estime has already been released by two teams. Another make take a chance on the power runner, but it’ll take the perfect fit of a team in need of that type of back.
What a difference 15 months can make. Last July, Estime was projected in a lot of circles to be the Broncos next featured back. Now, he’s back on the street as a free agent, looking for another NFL opportunity.
