The Celtics have a tradition of using their final days before the NBA season starts to put on a relaxed exhibition game between their coaches and the media members that cover the franchise. Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla and Co. didn’t hold back on their opponents, posting a winning score of 57 to 4.
While Mazzulla never realized an NBA career of his own as a player, he was a talented college basketball star that helped lead the West Virginia Mountaineers to the Final Four in 2010. It just goes to show how difficult it can be to face higher-level competition.
