“Real Interest” Shedeur Sanders Sees Team Skyrocket As Favorites To Trade For Him Before 2025…

Shedeur Sanders is one of the most talked about rookies in recent years. From the lead up to the NFL Draft, the 2025 Draft itself, and the team he wound up getting drafted to, Sanders’ career made headlines from the very start.

Now another AFC team could reportedly be interested in trading for him before the deadline.

As of now, The New York Jets are the favorite to acquire Shedeur Sanders before the 2025 deadline (Breaking)

It’s the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders that the New York Jets may seek to acquire with the trade deadline less than a month away:

The Jets had plenty of opportunities to select Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft. After all, the Colorado product wasn’t selected until the 144th overall pick. The Browns promoted him to the No. 2 spot on the depth chart this past weekend. That move felt inevitable after the team traded Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals.

While it’s possible the Browns will give Sanders a chance to start games later this season, there are plenty of people in New York who want the Jets to acquire him.

During this Monday’s episode of “Evan & Tiki” on WFAN, Evan Roberts explained why he wants the Jets to go after Sanders.

“It is time for the Jets to acquire Shedeur Sanders from the Cleveland Browns. Someone tell me why that’s a bad idea, and I don’t want to hear about it’s a circus. What’s this? What the hell is this that we’re watching? Circus, that’s a circus. Bad, crappy football is a circus,” Roberts said. “The Jets should have drafted this guy, I don’t know, second, third, fourth. They had a million opportunities to draft him. He has not gotten an opportunity in Cleveland.”

Roberts suggested Jets general manager Darren Mougey should offer the Browns a fifth-round pick for Sanders.

“If I’m Darren Mougey, I call up my contemporaries in Cleveland, and I say, here’s a fifth-round pick back. Here’s your fifth back. Let’s get Shedeur in here, and let’s see what the kid has got. Because why not?”

WFAN overnight host Chris McMonigle and longtime radio host Joe Benigno have also urged the Jets to pursue Sanders before the trade deadline.

Will the Jets actually pursue Sanders in the coming weeks? We’re not entirely sure, but their quarterback room is in dire need of a boost.

In Week 6, Justin Fields completed 9-of-17 pass attempts for 45 yards in a 13-11 loss to the Denver Broncos. Frankly, it’d be really hard for Sanders to play much worse.

That being said, Cleveland seems committed to Sanders and his development. Browns offensive coordinator Tommy Rees recently applauded the rookie signal-caller’s preparation.

“I think he’s gotten more used to that, gotten up to speed, doing a nice job in his preparation and understanding what the game plan holds. And when he’s had his opportunities to go operate it, he’s done a nice job,” Rees said.

As of now, we don’t expect the Browns to trade Sanders. Of course, things could change between now and the Nov. 4 deadline.
