Josh Jacobs has been a rock in the backfield for the Green Bay Packers’ high-powered offense. Despite injuries to the team’s offense, the Packers have remained a big threat to opposing defenses, in large part because of Jacobs’ work on the ground.
Against the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday, the Alabama Crimson Tide football program productchurned out his best game yet in the 2025 NFL regular season, helping Green Bay eke out a 27-18 victory at Lambeau Field. Before that contest, Jacobs had not averaged more than 3.9 yards a carry, and given his particular health condition in the Bengals game, it seemed as though he was not going to record a higher efficiency.
Well, the opposite happened versus the Bengals, with Jacobs having a big performance.

Jacobs shouldn’t have performed as well as he did in the Bengals game, given the fact that he wasbattling illness before and during the contest. He even admitted to throwing up during the game. Still, he did not lose any confidence at all heading into the game.
A video shared by the NFL on Monday even showed Jacobs predicting that he’d get “like 120” yards.
He exceeded his own expectations, as he finished with 93 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries to go along with 57 receiving yards, while catching all five of Jordan Love’s passes to him.
Jacobs will try to sustain his form in Week 7, as Green Bay shoots for its fourth win of the season in a road game against the Arizona Cardinals this coming Sunday.
