Spain’s head coach, Luis de la Fuent,e once again showered praise on Barcelona midfielder Pedri following his outstanding performance in the national team’s 4-0 victory over Bulgaria.
The 22-year-old delivered yet another masterclass in midfield, dictating play and showcasing his trademark vision and precision before being substituted in the 66th minute with Spain already two goals ahead.
The match, held at the Nuevo Zorrilla Stadium in Valladolid, saw the crowd rise to its feet as Pedri walked off the pitch to a thunderous ovation.
The Barcelona star was replaced by Pablo Barrios, but his influence on the game was undeniable.
Once again, Pedri reminded everyone why he is considered one of the most gifted midfielders of his generation.
Speaking after the match, Luis de la Fuente had nothing but admiration for the young Spaniard.
“You can expect anything from Pedri. He is a great footballer. He sees things that no one else does.

“He always chooses the best option available to him from his teammates,” he said.
The bond between the player and his coach was evident as Pedri made his way to the sidelines.
De la Fuente greeted him with a tight embrace, a gesture that reflected both pride and appreciation for another remarkable display.
The Barcelona midfielder was especially impressive in the first half, creating several dazzling moves and coming close to scoring, denied only by the crossbar.
Pedri’s control and passing accuracy stood out once again, completing 101 of his 109 passes, a staggering 93% success rate.
His intelligence on the ball and ability to find gaps in tight spaces kept Bulgaria chasing shadows for most of the game.
Meanwhile, De la Fuente, delighted with both the result and the team’s approach, also said he was “happy” with how his players handled a tricky opponent.
