8:54 a.m. -- The Giants signed veteran LB Jonas Griffith and WR Juice Wells Jr. to the practice squad. Griffith has played all 22 of his games (12 starts) with the Broncos, whom the Giants face this Sunday in Denver. He has not played in a regular-season game since Nov. 13, 2022, when he suffered a season-ending ankle injury. Griffith then tore his ACL twice. Wells spent the offseason with the Giants as an undrafted rookie from Ole Miss, where he caught passes from QB Jaxson Dart, but was waived Aug. 26. Wells ranked third in the SEC, seventh nationally, with 19.8 yards per reception in his final collegiate season. He caught four passes for 24 yards in three preseason games.
