Premier League leaders Arsenal will hope to maintain their slender advantage at the top of the table when they visit Fulham on Saturday.
The Gunners currently sit just a single point ahead of reigning champions Liverpool in the top flight standings, with the Reds having been beaten 2-1 by Chelsea in their last outing.
Mikel Arteta’s side had defeated West Ham United 2-0 in their previous match, leapfrogging Arne Slot’s side into top spot.
The Cottagers will likely provide a stern test for Arsenal, though, with Marco Silva’s side having picked up two wins and two draws from their opening seven games of the new season.
Off the pitch, it has emerged that Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of a Serie A star.
As per TBR Football, Arsenal are one of several clubs likely to left disappointed as Juventus have decided that Khephren Thuram is not for sale.

The report claims that the 24-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in recent months, however the Old Lady have no intention of selling the player.
Thuram – son of former France international Lilian – joined Juventus from French side Nice in 2024 and has since played 58 times for the Italian side across all competitions, scoring six goals.
It is claimed that the listed Premier League clubs all enquired about the player’s availability, but were promptly informed that he is regarded by his current employers as being untouchable.
Thuram’s current contract is set to run until the end of the 2028/29 season, putting the Serie A side in a commanding position.
The report also suggests that Juventus’ general manager, Damien Comolli, is keen to build the Turin outfit’s side around Thuram and teammate Kenan Yildiz, both of whom have established themselves as key player for the Old Lady over the past 12 months.
