St. Bonaventure General Manager and former NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski is returning to a media role.
Wojnarowski, also known as Woj, is starting a new series called “The Program with Woj,” according to The Athletic.
The show will broadcast weekly on YouTube and will see Wojnarowski "interview big-name team builders using his vast contacts from his decades in sports media and first year in the front office," per the report.
The majority of the revenue will be used to help St. Bonaventure with NIL, The Athletic reports.
“I’m learning a lot in this GM role at St. Bonaventure and want to explore my new world with a lot of the innovative team-building minds in sports,” Adrian Wojnarowski told the site. “My financial motivation with ‘The Program’ is simply to raise revenue to be distributed directly back to our players on campus.”
Adrian Wojnarowski left ESPN in September of 2024 to take over as the general manager at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure.
The move was a stunner as Woj reportedly walked away from millions to make $75,000 per year with St. Bonaventure.
Woj was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, which he said factored into his decision to move away from his NBA insider role.
Now he is returning to media, although in a much different capacity.
St. Bonaventure finished with a 22-12 record in Wojnarowski’s first season with the program, making the NIT.
He is hopeful that the start of his new show will help take the program to another level.
