NFL teams on a bye this week: Full schedule of Week 7 byes for Bills and Ravens

During the NFL season, each team gets just one off week to reset and regroup for the stretch run.

Bye weeks are a crucial part of the season for each organization, as it is the only time the teams get a full week off over the course of the four-month season. These byes take place over a 10-week stretch during the year, giving some teams earlier byes and other teams later byes depending on how their schedule fell.

For Week 7, just a few teams get the week off while most of the league is in action. Here's a look at which teams will sit this week out in the NFL.

NFL teams on a bye this week

Only two teams are on a bye for Week 7: the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Bills enter their bye on a two-game losing streak and are looking to find some answers. Buffalo was the last undefeated team in the NFL, starting the year 4-0, but losses to the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons in back-to-back weeks have them in second place in the AFC East.

After their bye week, the Bills will travel to play the Carolina Panthers before hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in a big conference matchup.

Meanwhile, the Ravens' bye week couldn't have come sooner. Baltimore is 1-5, having lost four-straight and staring down a lost season. Quarterback Lamar Jackson missed the last two games with an injury, but this bye week should allow him enough time to heal before returning in Week 8,

The Ravens host the Chicago Bears after they return from the bye, and they will follow that up with a game on the road against the Miami Dolphins on "Thursday Night Football."

While the Bills have a better record than the Ravens, both teams need the bye week to try and determine what is going wrong and how to turn their seasons around before it's too late.
