Chelsea fans reach conclusion on Enzo Maresca after reports of Juventus interest

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is the first to make it into his second season since Todd Boehly took over the club, and his impressive work has not gone unnoticed.

It has been reported that Serie A giants Juventus have been monitoring Maresca’s work, with them keeping the idea in the back of their minds to bring a former player back to the club.

The chiefs at Stamford Bridge are reportedly very pleased with the work the manager has completed so far, even when he is being reprimanded for his actions.

The owners were delighted at Maresca’s red card against Liverpool because of the passion he showed in response to the biggest win the Blues had achieved this season.

Chelsea fans reach Enzo Maresca conclusion after Juventus interest

Despite rumours of his exit, and Maresca refusing to rule out Italy in the future, Chelsea fans are all in agreement that the club need to continue to build with him at the helm.

One user simply said: “We absolutely cannot let this guy go.”

Another added: “They should look away, he is not leaving anytime soon.”

A third stated: “What scares me is who could replace Maresca (Style wise)?”

Finally, one user said: “Give Enzo Maresca and Robert Sanchez the cb they deserve. We’ve arguably got the best dm and full backs in the world.”

Potential replacements for Maresca

If Chelsea were forced to move on from Maresca, they would not be short of current Premier League managers who they could look to hire instead.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola would be a fantastic hire for Chelsea, off the back of overperforming with the side who nearly beat the Blues at Stamford Bridge last season.

Oliver Glasner could also become an option if he chose to move on from Crystal Palace, however BlueCo could have another candidate in mind if they had to make the call.

Liam Rosenior is enjoying a very strong spell in charge of fellow BlueCo club Strasbourg, and would certainly be in the running if Chelsea needed to make a managerial change.
