For years, Green Bay Packers fans criticized or questioned Jordan Love.
The quarterback looked like a superstar at times, but his miscues were head-scratching.
This season, however, he’s playing the best football of his career.
His deep throws have been on point, and he’s been the catalyst for a dynamic offense.
“Jordan Love posted seven explosive completions (16-plus yards) in Week 6, bringing his total to 32. That is the second most by a Packer through five games, behind only QB Aaron Rodgers’ MVP season in 2011, when he had 35 through five games,” Jacob Morley posted on X.

Love clearly learned a thing or two from his mentor when he sat behind Rodgers.
You can see the resemblance in their games at times.
Of course, that’s not to say that he’s going to be as good as Rodgers or that he’s going to win multiple MVP awards, but numbers don’t lie.
As things stand, Love is among the favorites to win NFL MVP this season, and he’s played much better than the team’s record might show.
It’s never easy to turn around the narrative, and after some of his wild throws and interceptions, it makes sense that fans who haven’t watched him play focus only on the past.
But you can see a maturity in Love’s decision-making.
He’s going through his progressions and avoiding unnecessary risks, and he’s not putting the ball in harm’s way as often as he did.
That has left the door open for some big plays, and he’s making the most of every inch of space defenses have given him.
