The updated Super Bowl odds show that there might not be a clear favorite to win the Vince Lombardi trophy. The 2025 NFL season has been more entertaining than many foresaw.
While the Philadelphia Eagles entered the campaign as strong candidates to defend their title, more candidates have emerged in the first six weeks. The AFC has multiple teams exceeding expectations, including the Indianapolis Colts (5-1), the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1), the Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) and the New England Patriots (4-2).

The NFC has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-1) as the No. 1 seed. The Green Bay Packers follow them closely. Other than that, the old suspects, including the Eagles, are fighting for a playoff spot.

Meanwhile, supposed contenders such as the Buffalo Bills (4-2), the Kansas City Chiefs (3-3), and the Baltimore Ravens (1-5) have had rocky starts to the season.

The Super Bowl odds were updated ahead of Week 7, right after the first third of the season. DraftKings (via “NFL on Fox” on X) has the Bills and Chiefs (both with +650) as the favorites to win it all in February.
The Packers and Detroit Lions (+800) are tied at second, while the Eagles (+1200) close out the top five.

Buffalo is in the middle of a two-game losing skid. Meanwhile, the Chiefs haven’t been consistent, exchanging wins and losses in their first six games.
Teams like the Rams (+1300), Buccaneers (+1500), Colts (+1500), Chargers (+1800) and Broncos (+1800) have gotten closer to the top after solid starts. They are part of the teams that could challenge contenders for a spot in the big game.
The second third of the season starts on Thursday with the Steelers-Bengals duel. Fans will get a clearer idea of where teams stand and who the pretenders and the actual contenders are.
