The Packers are only a few plays away from being unbeaten through the first six weeks, so it’s little wonder that Green Bay is viewed as one of the most complete teams in the league.
After all, had it not been for a late Jordan Love interception and defensive meltdown that led to Joe Flacco leading a 13-10 comeback win for the Browns, the Packers would be the last of the unbeaten teams.

With a third of the season already in the books, Pro Football Focus lists the Packers not just as the No. 2 team in the league behind the Kansas City Chiefs, but as one of the teams with the best chances of winning the Super Bowl.
Only the Chiefs and Buffalo Bills currently have better than the Packers’ 9% chance of hoisting the Lombardi, by PFF’s metrics.
“The Packers have proven to be one of the best teams in the NFL,” Thomas Valentine writes for PFF. “But boy, do they love playing down to their opponents. Whether it’s a little rustiness coming off a bye week or something else, the Packers couldn’t fully separate from the Bengals and let them back in the game late on. In the end, they got the win and are now 3-1-1 on the season. The offense remains top-five in EPA per play.”
If Green Bay can keep up this pace, and continue to get healthier, the Packers are going to be one of the tougher teams to beat across the league with a chance to make good on Pro Football Focus’ lofty expectations.
