Cooper Flagg enters his rookie season with the Dallas Mavericks as one of the most hyped players in the league.
The 2025 No. 1 overall was a star at Duke and landed in a great situation in Dallas, as he joins Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving as the core of the team. While Irving's injury means he will miss a large chunk of the season, the Mavericks are on the rise anyway.
Before Flagg makes his regular-season debut, he and the Mavericks have one more preseason game to play, as they travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to take on the Los Angeles Lakers. This star-studded matchup will also be on national television, which, for some people, is their first chance to see Flagg in a Mavericks uniform.
